Dahab has a good number of doctors and well-stocked pharmacies'. Dahab has a recently opened a new and well equipped hospital.

Apart from this hospital in Dahab there is also a clinic, which isw located in Street Mashraba. We, personally have good experiences with this clinic. The name of the doctor who runs it, is Dr. Sadek, he speaks good English, is friendly, helpful and not expensive. 

Like many holiday destinations, the extreme climate change and local cuisine in Egypt can lead to the famous "Curse of the Pharaoh".

In Dahab you can find pharmacies (farmacia's) everywheren, which sell excellent medication especially for diarrhea and we recommend to use the locally available drugs.
